Kelly’s Biography

Kelly was born in Dublin at a time when things were very hard for many families, and hers was no exception. But there was always music around the house when she was growing up, her mother and two sisters would sing at every opportunity while her Dad was a brilliant dancer. In fact Kelly was a very talented Irish dancer as a youngster, but her main passion has always been to sing, and with her music she has travelled the world….until she experienced a traumatic set-back.

Between 1996 and 1997 she was very seriously injured by carbon monoxide poisoning and is very fortunate to be alive. She underwent numerous harsh treatments to counteract the harmful side effects of the poisoning, it was a truly dark period of her life. She believes Almighty God kept his hand on her during this time and having recovered, she has vowed to serve him for the rest of her life.

Kelly is convinced that the great faith she has today stems from her early childhood, when her mother encouraged her to trust in Jesus Christ. Unbelievably she knew from the tender age of just three years old that she wanted to serve God.

She was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 2004, and then founded “Streetwalk”, an outreach ministry, which cares for the downtrodden, offering practical help, food, clothes, shelter and a sympathetic ear to those in a vulnerable situation. Kelly is still hands-on and would love to develop “Streetwalk” to enable her to help more people.

She has always had a great love of music, and this is her first professional Country Gospel album. Her goal is to touch this hurting world with the love of Jesus Christ and believes that music is a wonderful way to achieve this.
